Introducing our new Head of Growth: Jackie Davis

I’m excited to share that Jackie Davis is joining us as Head of Growth to help us bring private, secure, and user-friendly password management to even more businesses and enterprises around the world.

Last November, we shared news about our new partnership with Accel. An important part of this partnership is growth. As we said at the time, “We’ve reached a point where we need expertise and guidance from those who’ve made this journey before”.

Jackie brings invaluable experience to our team from her time at Atlassian, New Relic, and HelloSign (now a Dropbox company) – a huge step on that journey. She joins other strategic, senior hires on the product and development sides who, together with the rest of the 1Password team, will shape an exciting future built on 1Password values.

Until now, we’ve mostly grown organically. Dave and Roustem launched 1Password 15 years ago to make it easier for people to use passwords online. People used it, talked about it, and gave us invaluable feedback, and we kept working to make it better. It’s that cycle that’s brought 1Password to 60,000 businesses like Basecamp, Slack, and IBM – and millions of people all over the world.

I’m incredibly proud of everyone who has helped us achieve what we have so far, and excited to see how the 1Password team old and new will work together to make 1Password better for everyone.

Jackie joins us at what we know is a challenging time for businesses, many of which have been forced to pivot rapidly to remote working, with all the challenges that poses to working safely online. To that end, Jackie will also help us raise awareness of our COVID-19 response, making 1Password Business free for businesses to try for 6 months.
